    The Asset Management Legal Team has an immediate opening for a real estate attorney. The Asset Management Legal Team is comprised of lawyers and other professionals who provide legal services and support to McDonald's East, Central and West Divisions and the twenty-two Regions that comprise these Divisions.   The lawyers on the team provide legal services focused primarily in the area of real estate relating to sites currently leased by McDonald’s, with an emphasis on the negotiation of new leases, amendments of existing leases, lease and purchase option exercises and purchase negotiations. This person will be expected to provide advice and counsel to regional and department management and other clients on real estate matters relating to McDonald’s existing leases and leased locations within the United States.  A  J.D. degree and a license to practice law are required.     The Chicago office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, a leading national law firm, has a position for an Employee Benefits and Tax Associate with zero to five years of experience.  Experienced candidates must be licensed in Illinois and have the following qualifications: Substantive legal experience in Employee Benefits Law, Substantive legal experience in Federal Income Taxation, Background in a quantitative discipline (e.g., mathematics, accounting, finance, natural or physical science), Strong writing skills.  Candidates currently in law school must have the following qualifications:  Have completed or enrolled to complete by graduation at least four federal income tax courses, Interest in Employee Benefits Law, preferably through coursework or experience, Background in a quantitative discipline (e.g., mathematics, accounting, finance, natural or physical science), Strong writing skills.
