The Chicago Committee is excited to announce its new Corporate Membership Initiative! By extending membership to Chicago based corporate legal departments, we believe we will make even greater progress towards achieving diversity in Chicago's law firms. This venture presents a perfect opportunity for corporate legal departments and the Chicago Committee to collaborate and work together on diversity initiatives that benefit both corporations and Chicago law firms. Corporate legal departments have done an excellent job in creating the economic impetus for change. The Chicago Committee will help build upon this foundation through joint-programming with the corporate legal community to facilitate the formation of a more inclusive legal profession. This partnership provides ample opportunity for creating new research initiatives and new programming to help advance the goal of greater diversity. By combining methods and approaches, corporations and the Chicago Committee have the ability to create real, lasting change - truly transforming law firms and the legal community.
